Birch Tree Business Solutions is a payroll and insurance agency
based in Fremont, New Hampshire
serving employers across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont.
We started on the insurance side. Over time it became clear that the hardest problems our clients had weren't insurance problems at all — they were the gaps between payroll, benefits, retirement, and workers' comp, and
the manual work those gaps created.
So we became the payroll company too. That's the whole idea behind the
business: when one company holds all of it, most of the work disappears.

Noah Behrend
Owner/President
Noah has always had a passion for helping people get the insurance and benefits they need without breaking the bank. Working with both individuals and business owners of all industries and sizes. One of Noah's greatest strengths is evaluating your coverage needs and explaining benefits in simple terms so there is no guessing what your coverage is! He created Birch Tree with the vision to be a one stop shop for all his clients small and large. Noah actively listens to the feedback of all his clients and strives to add additional services whenever possible.

​Husband and proud father of two girls and two dogs. In his free time he enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting and family vacations.

McKala Bayane, CPP
Director Of Operations
McKala is our in house payroll specialist with nearly 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. McKala is a certified expert in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Payroll, and also holds the designation of Certified Payroll Professional. With state and federal compliance as a top priority, McKala is always on top of the current regulations. Besides being very meticulous with everything she does, she is also a wonderful trainer for our payroll system. We have a YouTube channel with self help videos and she is constantly updating and adding more as we get requests or FAQ's.
McKala is married with four children and two dogs. McKala is an avid reader, travel enthusiast, and aspiring blogger!

Bill Biniszkiewicz
Director of Business Development
Bill is our Maine health insurance expert and payroll enrollment coordinator. As a Maine resident he is quickly becoming the go to payroll guy for the cannabis industry. Bill has not encountered an industry that he was unable to help with payroll savings and benefits management or implementation like group health and dental and vison plans.

Bill is married with two daughters. If Bill isn't working you can find him outdoors or off to NY visiting family and friends.
Taylor Holton
Inside Sales and Support
Taylor handles all of our marketing and social media accounts. Taylor also helps with our back end support and processes. Client satisfaction and ease of use for our clients is always top priority for him. Taylor processes a lot of our benefit changes and ensures compliance and accuracy with all of our benefit changes and retirement uploads.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys golfing, cooking, skiing, and spending time with his Golden Retriever, Buster. Taylor especially values family gatherings at the old homestead, where making memories with loved ones is what it’s all about. A passionate sports fan with a competitive spirit, Taylor loves a good challenge—if there’s a ball in play, Taylor is playing to win!

Michelle Meekins
Payroll Processor and Client Advocate -Team Lead
Michelle is our team lead for the payroll side of the business. She helps with first line payroll processing questions. She loves working with our clients and ensuring that payroll is accurate and on time alongside McKala. Michelle is a great listener and problem solver. She is currently working toward her CPP designation and Quickbooks certification.

Michelle is married with two adult girls and has two fur babies, chickens and a mini horse.
